Our journey started at Gobeklitepe. This is the oldest sanctuary on the planet. It is over 12,000 years old. As you stand before these ancient stones, you realize something profound. Humanity began its journey right here. During the tour, our guide shared fascinating stories about rituals and archaeological finds. Meanwhile, our driver thoughtfully provided tea and fruit while we discussed history under the warm sun.
Meeting the Gods: Mount Nemrut
Next, we visited Mount Nemrut. This is a majestic peak where stone gods reign supreme. We departed in the dark to witness the sunrise at the summit. At first, there was only wind, cold, and total silence. However, everything changed when the first rays of sun touched the faces of the giant statues. Everyone simply stood still in awe. You cannot describe this feeling with words; you must experience it yourself.
Stepping into the Past: Safranbolu
Afterward, we traveled to Safranbolu. This is a city where time has truly stopped. You can smell fresh coffee among the traditional wooden houses. It feels as though you have stepped back into the past. In the evening, we stayed in a cozy hotel selected by Pobeda Travel. It offered a beautiful view of the old town and the soft glow of street lamps.
